About me:

I started experimenting with the wonderful world of crochet in about 2005. I have made a wide range of decorative and functional items, which you can see in my gallery.

My work was displayed in the Vision Pod in Woking in March-June 2010, as part of an exhibition accompanying performances of "The Vision" community play.

My intention is to start offering classes to individuals or small groups at different levels of crochet. I am also considering the possible use of crochet as a part of therapy. I am based in Woking, Surrey. As I have an understanding of disabilities including Autism and dyslexia (from personal experience) I would be happy to work with those with those conditions.

I just love crafting and working with wool, the different textures and colours and just so wonderful, either using the same patterns, with different wools, or amending, to make nests of bowls. I have also designed fidget toys, which can be keyrings, which I find so relaxing to handle, head bands, fashionable scarves. I design inside my head and then put into wool.

I enjoy many other crafts including knitting and Celtic knot drawing. Please contact me if you would like to know more.

Jo.
